FAQs
How many spaces are on each course?
There are only 12 spaces available per course. We are keen to keep the learning experience personalised and hands-on, as we understand first-hand how this can completely change the quality of an instructor, which to us is the most important of all!
What other hours must I fulfil, once my training course weekends are completed and before I can book my exam?
10 Observation Hours which you can complete right here at Runway Pilates by watching our already qualified, highly skilled instructors at work.
8 Practice Teaching Hours - and here’s the best part: Runway provides the studio space and the clients. This will be available upon completion of your course training, putting your knowledge into practice in an authentic studio setting. You would just need the correct student insurance ahead of teaching these.
40 In Class Participation Hours. You will receive exclusive discounts on class packs, so you can immerse yourself by participating in classes and in the method with us at Runway. We really appreciate the value of your own Pilates practice enhancing your Instructor Journey.
Weekly 1-hour Reformer self-practice session in-studio. As self mastery is the foundation; teaching is the art built upon it.
What if I am unavailable for one of the training weekends?
We ask that before booking onto a course, you are already available for all weekend dates and hours. Should something come up out of your control once the course has started, you will be able to catch up by booking additional 1:1 time with the Master Instructors. This would incur an additional fee for each 1:1 session you require. The weekend training dates will be intensive hours, and we will do our best to make sure any missed sessions can be caught up appropriately should this happen.
What assessments or evaluations are required to successfully pass the course?
Once you have completed all course dates and met the remaining course requirements, you will be eligible to sit both a written and a practical exam. You must pass both in order to qualify. These exams can only be taken a minimum of six months after your course ends, allowing time for you to complete your observation hours, practice teaching hours, and in-class participation. This ensures you are fully prepared to sit your exams and begin your career as a confident, competent Instructor.
What specific qualification will I hold upon completion?
When you have successfully passed both your written and practical exam, you will receive your Runway Pilates Reformer Certification. This qualifies you as a certified Reformer Instructor, allowing you to teach group classes or 1:1s within a studio setting.
Are there any post-certification opportunities for teaching within Runway Pilates?
Although this is not guaranteed, we are always expanding our instructor intake at Runway Pilates to accommodate for our ever growing business.
Is there an option for a payment plan?
The standard 2026 price for the course is £3,000. To make securing your place easier, we’ve introduced a
£300 deposit, with the remaining balance due just three weeks prior to the course beginning.
Alternatively you can pay in full upfront.
What is the refund / cancellation policy?
Please note that all course bookings are non-refundable. Once your place is secured, we are unable to offer refunds for cancellations due to the limited number of spots available.
We understand that unexpected circumstances can arise. If you are unable to attend the course after booking, we will make every effort to transfer your enrolment to a future course date, subject to availability and with sufficient notice. All transfer requests must be submitted in writing at least 30 days prior to the course start date.
